Sri Lanka’s political leaders today congratulated the President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on their victory in the 2020 US presidential election on Saturday.
Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa taking to Twitter congratulated the President-elect Biden on his “historic victory”. “Look forward to working closely with you to strengthen the bilateral relations between our two countries.”
“The Government and the people of Sri Lanka join me in extending our warmest congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on this historic victory. We look forward to working together towards an even more robust, mutually rewarding partnership.
