Court orders Army to submit list of surrendered LTTE cadres

The Mullaitivu court today ordered the Army to submit a list of the LTTE cadres who surrendered during the final stages of the war.

The Mullaitivu District Magistrate ordered the Army to submit the list by January 30 to the court, the BBC Sinhala service reported.

The Mullaitivu District Magistrate issued the order when the court heard the case filed, alleging that some LTTE cadres who had surrendered to the Army had gone missing.
