Gazette on cabinet portfolios delayed

The gazette notice on the portfolios for the new cabinet appointed recently has been delayed.

The gazette was expected to be issued this week but it has been delayed.

Last week the President appointed a new cabinet just days after appointing Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister.

The President however held onto the Ministry of Defence, Law and Order and Media.
