Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is to meet with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Methodist Church Bishop Asiri Perera and others over the Anuradhapura Methodist church attack.
The Methodist prayer centre was attacked on Palm Sunday.
Minister of Economic Reforms and Public Distribution, Dr. Harsha de Silva tweeted saying the Police must take swuft action over the incident.
He also condemned some statements made by the IGP over the incident.

A group of about 25 people had threatened the Bishop and then attacked the church with stones and firecrackers.
