A suspect has been arrested by the Terrorist Investigations Division (TID) for promoting extremism.
The Police said the 44-year-old suspect was arrested in Mawanella.
According to the Police, the suspect had been deported from the Middle East.
He is also said to be linked to a relative of the mastermind of the Easter Sunday attacks, Zahran Hashim.
