லண்டனில் வீடுகளின் மீது பாரம் தூக்கி ஒன்று வீழ்ந்து விபத்துக்குள்ளானதில் பெண் ஒருவர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளதுடன் நால்வர் காயமடைந்துள்ளனர். லண்டன் போவ் (Bow) பகுதியிலுள்ள அடுக்குமாடிக் குடியிருப்பொன்றின் நிர்மாணப்பணிகளில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டிருந்த 20 மீற்றர் உயரமான கிரேன் ஒன்றே வீழ்ந்ததில் அனர்த்தம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.
சம்பவத்தில் உயிரிழந்த பெண்ணின் சடலம் வீடொன்றின் முதலாம் மாடியிலிருந்து மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதன்போது காயமடைந்த நால்வர் சிகிச்சைக்காக வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
