Occupying Sri Lanka military stated that 1201 acres of lands that are being occupied by the military in the Northern Province are going to be released. The military further highlighted that these lands are going to be released without compromising the national security.
Thus, privately owned lands in Killinochchi, Mullaitivu and Jaffna are going to be released.
972 acres of lands in Killinochchi district, 120 acres of lands in Mullaitivu district and 46 acres of lands in Jaffna district are going to be released.
