The controversial Toyota Land Cruiser V8 luxury vehicle was officially handed over to Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary, Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera by a long-term donor, Dr. Walter Jayasinghe to the organisation.
The official handing ceremony was held at the Rajagiriya Saddharmarajika Viharaya last Sunday (11). Dr. Walter Jayasinghe, a US resident and a long-term donor to the organization.
The BBS media division said many false news were circulated about this vehicle in the recent past.
On the same day, a ceremony to ordain a child, Janidu, under the name Aganaketiye Gnanaseeha was also held at the temple.
