சிரியாவில் கிளர்ச்சியாளர்கள் சரணடைந்துள்ளதாக அந்நாட்டு அரசாங்கத் தொலைக்காட்சி தகவல் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. தலைநகர் டமாஸ்கஸின் தென் பகுதியில் நிலைகொண்டிருந்த கிளர்ச்சியாளர்களே இவ்வாறு சரணடைந்துள்ளனர் எனவும் கிளர்ச்சியாளர்கள் கைவசமிருந்த பல்வேறு பகுதிகளை கைப்பற்றியுள்ளதாகவும் அரச தொலைக்காட்சியில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இதேவேளை, ரசாயன தாக்குதல் குறித்து விசாரணை நடத்தும் அதிகாரிகள் இன்னமும் சம்பவ இடத்தைச் சென்றடையவில்லை என தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. டூமாவில் இடம்பெற்றதாகக் கூறப்படும் தாக்குதல் சம்பவம் தொடர்பில் விசாரணை நடத்தும் நோக்கில் சிரியாவின் தலைநகருக்கு சென்றுள்ள அதிகாரிகள் கடந்த ஒரு வார காலமாக, சம்பவம் இடம்பெற்ற டூமா நகரிற்கு செல்ல முடியாதிருக்கின்றனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது
